Danielle Newman
Danielle Newman is a local high school math and special education teacher with a creative spirit that extends far beyond the classroom. In addition to teaching, she is a member of the school’s rock band, where she plays guitar and sings. Danielle is also the primary furniture refinisher for The Twisted Tree, bringing new life to old pieces with care and craftsmanship. She and her daughter, Charis, have long shared the dream of opening a shop filled with unique, vintage treasures and reimagined finds.
Charis Youmans is a local author currently in the process of publishing her first book. She manages the business side of The Twisted Tree, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Charis is also the friendly face you’ll see when you walk into the shop, always ready to greet customers with a warm smile and a welcoming presence. She has dreamed of opening her own shop for many years and is thrilled to finally have it up and running.
